چکیده

The purpose of the research is to determine relationship between infestation Cryptosporidium parvum in calves that have regular contact with synanthropic reservoirs (rodents and birds) climatic zones Udmurtia. study distribution manifestations cryptosporidiosis was carried out among rodents (gray rat (Rattus norvegicus), house mouse (Mus musculus), common vole (Microtus arvalis), bank (Myodes glareolus)) birds (rock dove). (Columba livia), sparrow (Passer domesticus), jackdaw (Coloeus monedula)). In total, 255 calves, 160 80 were subjected study. The assessment by generally accepted coprological flotation methods, as well making native smears further Ziehl-Neelsen staining. results obtained evaluated using statistical methods: analysis variance, taking into account Fisher criterion Pearson correlation coefficient. The showed all natural Udmurt Republic a high percentage infection recorded. On territory southern zone, rate 62.35%, while captured mouselike prevalence invasion at level 37.25%, - 20.0%.In farms located on northern zone republic, degree reached 41.18%, 23.91%. minimum detection cryptosporidium oocysts observed north Udmurtia 11.77%.The fact dependence causative agent presence parasite carriers has been established. According calculating coefficient direct close revealed representatives reservoir rodents, birds, regularly agricultural crops. animals.

Cryptosporidium parvum and Cryptosporidium andersoni infection in naturally infected cattle of northwest Iran

The protozoan intestinal parasite Cryptosporidium commonly infects cattle throughout the world and Iran. The present study was undertaken to determine the abundance and associated risk factors of Cryptosporidium infection in cattle herds of northwestern Iran. A total number of 246 fecal samples from 138 (56.1%) diarrheic (D) and 108 (43.9%) non-diarrheic (ND) cattle were rando...

Cryptosporidium Parvum Genome Project

A lack of basic understanding of parasite biology has been a limiting factor in designing effective means of treating and preventing disease caused by Cryptosporidium parvum. Since the genomic DNA sequence encodes all of the heritable information responsible for development, disease pathogenesis, virulence, species permissiveness and immune resistance, a comprehensive knowledge of the C. parvum...

Antigen Incorporation on Cryptosporidium parvum

Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts are the infective stages responsible for transmission and survival of the organism in the environment. In the present work we show that the oocyst wall, far from being a static structure, is able to incorporate antigens by a mechanism involving vesicle fusion with the wall, and the incorporation of the antigen to the outer oocyst wall. Using immunoelectron microsc...

Improved In Vitro Culture of Cryptosporidium parvum

BACKGROUND: Oocysts of Cryptosporidium species are frequently found in surface water. Approved detection methods, such as EPA method 1623, do not discriminate between infectious and dead oocysts. Culture of C. parvum and C. hominis, the two Cryptosporidium species responsible for most human infections, has been shown to be a good alternative to animal models for detecting infective oocysts. The...

Cryptosporidium parvum is a zoonotic protozoan parasite with a wide range of vertebrate hosts. The present study was conducted to determine the prevalence of Cryptosporidium parvum in urban and rural dogs of the Ahvaz area. Faecal samples were collected randomly from 93 dogs between May 2005 and September 2007. The studied dogs were divided into two groups (urban and rural) and based on age int...
